Helpful Hints to Use Turmeric

I have many times written about turmeric.   It is the one spice you should

use daily.   I have seen articles saying there are 600 or 800 reasons why you

should use it.  The main reasons are:

  • Destroying

    Multi-Drug Resistant

    Cancer

  • Destroying Cancer Stem Cells (arguably,

    the root of all

    cancer)

  • Protecting Against Radiation-Induced Damage
  • Reducing Unhealthy Levels of Inflammation
  • Protecting Against

    Heavy

    Metal Toxicity

  • Preventing and ReversingAlzheimer’s

    Disease Associated Pathologies

These are major reasons.  My one question I get asked alot is;

How do I use it?     Let me give you some examples of how to get it into food

without the whole family or others making faces.

scrambled eggs;  before you whip your eggs, just sprinkle a wee bit in, before cooking

Ice tea:  Hawaiian sprinkle it in the hot water when making ice tea. Gives it a beautiful golden color.

Meats:  All meats and poultries.  Just sprinkle a little directly on the meat, before you put other spices or sauces on.

Soups and Gravies:  You dont need a lot, and it will give your foods a beautiful richness to it

vegetables:   all vegetables will absorb turmeric, add while you are cooking.

As you can see, there are not too many recipes that you can not add it to.  The flavor is not overpowering, but do pick an organic brand, or watkins.
