Harvard Scientist discovered that people taking a 250mg dose of ibuprofen, such as Motrin or Advil, two or more times weekly were 38% less likely to develop Parkinson’s Disease than those taking aspirin, acetaminophen or nothing at all. This study found taking it more often, even daily, can drop your risk even lower.
Why it works? Researchers believe ibuprofen has the unique ability to target and protect the brain cells responsible for your balance and coordination, the same cells affected by Parkinson’s Disease.
Start by choosing ibuprofen as your go-to pain killer whenever body aches strike. If you have relatives who have Parkinson’s Disease, then you should consider a daily regimen.
