Hawthorn has been a heart disease remedy since the first century. It is a common thorny shrub that grows up to 5 feet tall and grows in small, red, white, and pink clusters. Researchers have noted the improved difference in the blood pressure and inflammation in comparison to the placebo volunteers without the tea.
